Ergonomics

The word "ergonomics" comes from the Greek words "ergos" and "nomos" meaning laws or management of work. Another definition - the scientific study of human beings in relation to their surroundings. This concept has become a very important part of employee safety and well being.

The accepted idea is to adapt the work station to best fit the individual performing the task and in that manner provide the person with a comfortable and safe and therefore productive work environment.
