Management demonstrates leadership by providing the tools and resources necessary for EHS to carryout its responsibilities; promulgating policies and procedures to address safety and environmental issues; and integrating aspects of safety and environmental stewardship into its strategic planning process. Employees participate by reporting unsafe conditions and/or instances of non-compliance with various regulations; getting involved in safety inspections; completing safety training; and serving as liaisons in the Departmental Safety Representative Program.
